At 1fund, we are committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and trustworthy community that connects supporters with creators bringing new products and ideas to life. This Code of Conduct outlines the standards of behavior we expect from all members of our community.

By using our platform, you agree to uphold these principles and contribute to a positive environment for all participants.

1. Respect and Inclusivity

1.1 Treat Everyone with Respect

We value diversity and welcome participants from all backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives. You must:

  • Treat all community members with dignity and respect
  • Be considerate of different viewpoints and experiences
  • Communicate professionally and constructively
  • Refrain from discriminatory language or behavior
  • Respect cultural and religious differences

1.2 Zero Tolerance for Harassment

We have zero tolerance for harassment, including but not limited to:

  • Offensive comments related to gender, race, religion, nationality, or other protected characteristics
  • Unwelcome sexual advances or inappropriate behavior
  • Intimidation, threats, or personal attacks
  • Stalking or following
  • Publishing others' private information without consent

2. Honesty and Transparency

2.1 Accurate Information

All information you provide must be accurate, truthful, and up-to-date. This includes:

  • Profile information and credentials
  • Campaign descriptions, funding goals, and reward details
  • Progress updates and estimated delivery timelines
  • Communication with other users

2.2 Disclosure of Conflicts

You must disclose any material conflicts of interest, relationships, or circumstances that could affect transactions or relationships on the platform.

3. Professional Conduct

3.1 For Campaign Creators

If you're raising funds for a campaign, you must:

  • Present your campaign honestly and accurately
  • Use funds solely for stated purposes
  • Provide regular progress updates to your supporters
  • Fulfill the rewards you have promised
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and concerns
  • Respect intellectual property rights

3.2 For Supporters

If you're supporting campaigns, you must:

  • Evaluate a campaign and its creator before reserving your interest
  • Respect confidentiality when requested
  • Provide constructive feedback when appropriate
  • Only reserve interest you genuinely intend to follow through on (reservations are free and never charged, but they signal real demand to creators)
  • Respect the autonomy of campaign creators
  • Understand that rewards may be delayed or changed

4. Privacy and Confidentiality

Respect the privacy and confidentiality of others:

  • Do not share others' personal information without consent
  • Respect confidential business information
  • Use information obtained through the platform only for its intended purpose
  • Report privacy violations to our team

5. Compliance with Laws

All users must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including:

  • Crowdfunding and payment services regulations
  • Anti-money laundering (AML) requirements
  • Know Your Customer (KYC) obligations
  • Tax reporting requirements
  • Consumer protection laws
  • Intellectual property laws

6. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Fraud, misrepresentation, or deception
  • Money laundering or financing illegal activities
  • Reserving interest in (or, when payments launch, pledging to) your own campaign to inflate its support total
  • Spam, phishing, or unauthorized solicitation
  • Creating fake accounts or impersonating others
  • Attempting to circumvent platform security or policies
  • Using the platform for illegal purposes
  • Violating intellectual property rights

7. Reporting Violations

If you witness or experience behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it immediately. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

8. Enforcement

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in:

  • Warnings and requests for corrective action
  • Temporary suspension of account privileges
  • Permanent ban from the platform

  • Reporting to relevant authorities

We reserve the right to take any action we deem necessary to maintain the integrity and safety of our community.
